These treatments are able to solve multiple minor concerns and produce a stunning smile that you’ll be proud to flash. Dr. Thomas Piazza will help you address those problems and fit you with a pair of veneers or laminates that will make your smile shine.

Are Veneers Or Laminates Right For Me?

If you’ve considered getting caps or crowns but are looking for alternatives, then dental veneers may be a viable solution. They are able to address concerns, including gaps between your teeth, chips, breaks, or teeth that misaligned or irregular shapes. If you have multiple minor dental aesthetic concerns, then veneers and laminates are excellent options for restoring your beautiful smile.

What Happens When I Get Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are attached to the teeth following a preparation process during which enamel is removed. Dr. Piazza will start the process by giving a local anesthetic followed by removing half a millimeter from your dental surface. A tooth mold is then made by having you bite down on a special substance that is sent to a dental lab to be created. Once they’re completed, they’ll be returned to the clinic where they will be affixed permanently on your teeth.

What Should I Expect After My Treatment?

Once you’ve received your veneers, you won’t need to do anything special in the care of your new aesthetic treatments. Simply continue to follow your normal dental hygiene routine with daily brushing, flossing, and regular use of mouthwash to ensure that your veneers remain sparkling clean. Your veneers aren’t going to be as strong as your natural teeth, so take care with your food choices, and especially stay away from exceptionally hard foods. Dietary changes and quitting habits like smoking will also help ensure that your new veneers do not become stained.

What Alternatives Exist To Getting Veneers?

For minor, aesthetic concerns, there are few options that perform as well as porcelain veneers. Some alternatives include crowns and bonding, but in most cases, if your concern can be addressed with a veneer, it’s far to minor to justify either of these treatments. Multiple minor concerns can be addressed by using porcelain veneers.
